A good font pairing is a true love story—when sans serif met serif. But in the design world, font pairings are tricky. We’ve all seen what happens when two hot mess fonts get together, or when ugly fonts get a little too popular. (We’re talking about you, Curlz.) So, to restore order to the design universe and help designers find the best font pairings, designer Jan Wennesland has created a brilliant tool: Font Flame.
It’s basically Tinder for fonts. The interface shows you font pairings, and you get to choose whether you love or hate them. Those you love stick around for later reference, and those you hate are banished. You can also take a look at curated pairings from other users.
